Grouping elements

Sometimes you find that a number of elements are all laid out perfectly, you may wish to do no further editing to those elements but have a lot more editing to do on your page. This is where element grouping comes in useful, by holding shift and clicking on 2 more elements you will see on the tools palette a button labelled Group Elements shows. Clicking this button will then treat the selected elements as one entity, this means when you click on one of the elements within the group they all become selected.

Grouped elements can then be moved around easily without spoiling the alignment and arrangement they share. Also, grouped elements can have styles, colours and other settings in the tools palette applied to them all at once.
